Valencia, after Madrid and Barcelona, is the third largest city in Spain with regards to its population (just over 800,000). It is also the capital of the Valencian Community, the region that includes the provinces of Castellón and Alicante. Located on the east coast of Spain and facing the Mediterranean Sea, Valencia is a cosmopolitan city, which is dynamic, lively, and above all, modern.
